Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Triply (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Triply mobile application (the “App”).

Information we collect
Depending on how you use the App, we may process:
- Account data: email address and authentication credentials managed via Supabase Auth; optional display name, phone number, and profile photo you choose to add.
- Guide identity documents: if you register as a local guide, a photo of the front and back of your government ID and a live selfie. These are used to confirm your identity, are not shown to other travellers, and are stored privately.
- Trip data: destinations, dates, party size, vehicle preferences, budgets, and generated trip plans you create in the App.
- Device and usage data: basic technical information needed to run the App (for example network requests to our API).
- Advertising identifiers: if ads are shown, Google AdMob and related Google advertising services may use the advertising ID on your device, subject to your device settings.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account
- Provide trip planning, estimates, and related features
- Improve reliability and fix problems
- Show ads (when enabled) to support the App
- Respond to support requests
Legal bases (where applicable)
Where required by law, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the App), with your consent (for example optional profile fields or advertising preferences), and for legitimate interests such as security and service improvement.
Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us operate the App, including:
- Supabase: authentication and database hosting
- Our API host: processes trip and profile requests you make in the App
- Google AdMob and related Google advertising services: advertising and related measurement (when ads are enabled)
- Optional map and routing providers used by the backend when enabled
These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account and trip data while your account is active. You may delete trips in the App. You may delete your account in Settings; that removes your account and profile-linked data on our servers (subject to short backup retention by our providers). You can also email us at [email protected] to request deletion. We may retain limited records as required by law or for legitimate security reasons.
Feedback you send through the App (message, category, optional screenshots, app and OS version, and your account email so we can reply) is kept to help us fix issues. If you delete your account, your email is removed from your feedback and it is no longer linked to you. Screenshots may still contain whatever was visible in them, so please avoid including personal information.
Your choices
- Update or clear optional profile fields in Settings
- Delete trips you no longer need
- Delete your account in Settings
- Reset or limit advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings, Google, Ads)
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We take steps appropriate to the context to protect that information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
